F1 to get twelfth team?

F1 could be set to get a twelfth grand prix team. With Midland and Red Bull now up and running, an all-new entrant – Team Dubai F1 – is still on track, according to Ron Dennis. But that's not all. Canadian newspaper the 'Toronto Sun' claims that a Canadian filmmaker has an eye on the F1 and (US-based) Champ Car grid. Ken Mandeville said on the phone that his Champ Car plan – an 'initial step' towards, perhaps, Team Canada F1 – could be up and running by May. Back, though, to Ron. Although it's all-quiet on the Team Dubai F1 front, McLaren's top man said in Bahrain that the plan is still 'active. ''Until we have something factual,'' said Dennis, whose team – and Mercedes – would provide technical (and other) support, ''we'll keep quiet.''
