Will IndyCar do the right thing and end season in Indy?

AR1.com readers know that we have strongly recommended that IndyCar end their season with a 400-miler on the oval at Indy, the home of IndyCar racing. At today's announcement for the Labor Day weekend race in Boston IndyCar CEO Mark Miles made a surprising statement when he said Boston may not be the final race of the 2016 season.

"We haven’t confirmed that yet," said Miles. “It’s Labor Day. We won’t announce whether that, in fact, is the finale of the championship until we announce the full season."

So…….has IndyCar finally pulled their head out of the sand and seen the light? Time will tell……
