Danica Patrick’s Move To NASCAR Could Be Announced Next Week

Danica Patrick and sponsor GoDaddy.com will announce their plans for 2012 next week in Phoenix, sources told FOXSports.com

According to sources, Patrick, 29, will run the full season in the Nationwide Series for JR Motorsports in 2012. A limited schedule in the Sprint Cup Series with cars fielded by Stewart-Haas Racing, with the intent of moving full time to Cup in 2013, is in the works.

When Stewart-Haas team co-owner Tony Stewart was asked about Patrick at a charity event at Texas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, he replied, "I don’t have an IndyCar team, and I don’t have a Nationwide team so. FOXSports
