Was Fontana a trade for Indy?

Speculation is rampant that the deal to bring IndyCar back to a France Family (ISC) owned facility in Fontana next September was contingent on the Nationwide and Grand-Am series being added to the Brickyard 400 weekend.

Recall that the two announcements – IndyCar to Fontana and Nationwide and Grand-Am to Indy happened one right after the other.
