In addition to contesting the full 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule, 2015 champion Kyle Busch will run partial schedules in both the NASCAR Xfinity and Gander Outdoors Truck Series, just as he has in years past. His Truck Series driving schedule will include five races, beginning with Saturday's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

“The Truck Series is always a lot of fun for me as a driver," Busch said. "And as an owner, it gives me the opportunity to work alongside the young drivers that we have at KBM to get a better understanding of what they are experiencing. From year to year, rule changes affect the handling of the trucks. By continuing to be an active driver in the Truck Series, I’m able to provide better feedback to our young drivers, not only on the weekends I’m racing, but on the weekends when I’m coaching from atop the pit box as well."

Busch will drive the #51 Toyota truck he owns through his Kyle Busch Motorsports team. Other races he plans to contest include the March 1 race at his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, March 23 at Martinsville Speedway, March 29 at Texas Motor Speedway and May 17 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Busch also drove one if his trucks in five Truck Series races last year, winning at Las Vegas and also at Pocono Raceway. He finished in the top-five in four of the 2018 races in which he entered.

“I’m thankful to Textron Aviation and the Cessna and Beechcraft brands for coming aboard the No. 51 Tundra for five races again this season," Busch said. “We’ve been able to celebrate with them in victory lane twice in each of the first two seasons of the sponsorship, so we’ll see if we can top that number this year, and if so, we’ll be starting it off with a historic one." Busch has 51-career Truck Series wins, tying him with series three-time champion Ron Hornaday for most series wins.
