Grosjean out, di Grassi in for Brazil GP

(GMM) Renault could be set to make an immediate change to its driver lineup ahead of next weekend's Brazilian grand prix.

The authoritative German publication Auto Motor und Sport reports that Lucas di Grassi, the team's reserve driver and a native Paulista, might replace the struggling Romain Grosjean for the Interlagos round.

The French-Swiss rookie Grosjean has struggled notably at Renault after replacing the sacked Nelson Piquet five races ago.

Auto Motor und Sport believes the departure of his manager Flavio Briatore has left the 23-year-old exposed to the team management's concerns that Grosjean might not be the best option to be Robert Kubica's full-time teammate in 2010.

Di Grassi, 25, finished third in this year's main GP2 series.
