McLaren gives Kovalainen the shaft?

Did anyone else pick up on Heikki Kovalainen's demeanor during the post qualifying interviews? This guy was pissed! Heikki always has at least a smiling and easy going way about him even in times of failure.

This was different. Watch him while Lewis is talking to see just how unhappy he was.

All morning it looked to us like a McLaren one two with Lewis a close number two. Then after outrunning his teammate in both previous sessions, Heikki ends the day half a second adrift in 3rd place!

Bad driving? I think not. He was easily faster in sector one. In the interview he said he lost it somewhere in the second sector but does not know exactly where …..and he obviously does not want to discuss it.

I say that Ron Dennis will not make the same mistake twice, and that the team slowed Heikki's car via a command sent to the car in sector 2 and Lewis was given the pole and Heikki given the shaft because Hamilton is running for the title and Kovalainen is not! Ray Masters, Hawaii
