Aston Martin to increase presence in ALMS?

Aston Martin Racing head boss George Howard-Chappell was spotted in the ALMS paddock at Road America over the weekend as he met with Bell Motorsports and Drayson-Barwell customer teams. It also fueled talk that Aston Martin may have an increased presence in ALMS later this year and could field additional factory supported entries for the last couple of races this year. We think that would mean an AM-powered prototype at the very least – already one ALMS team has approached Howard-Chappell about acquiring such a package – and bringing much-needed competition to Corvette in GT1.
