Magazine says Kahne is gay

SportsPro magazine reports Kasey Kahne is gay

As can be seen by the is scan of page 162 of the August 2008 issue of SportsPro Magazine, it is reported that NASCAR Sprint Cup star Kasey Kahne is gay.

Since there is no positive or negative confirmation from the Kahne camp as to whether this story is true or not we list it as a rumor for now.

It doesn't look like a parody, and the other news items in the section look legitimate. We don't know of anyone in the industry that truly believes this to be the case, there are always rumors about a number of different drivers and their private lives. Definitely not "generally acknowledged" to our knowledge.
