IndyCars too hard for Manning

UPDATE A.J. Foyt, who is skipping this race to attend to business in Houston, has accepted Darren Manning's explanation that his arms were too tired to continue driving in last week's race. Manning said his seat was too far from the steering wheel. IndyStar

06/23/08 Word is that Darren Manning's arms gave out again during Sunday's Iowa IndyCar race, and that he could no longer turn the wheel. We know this was a problem for him on some of the street circuits last year. We hear that A.J. Foyt was livid when Manning parked the car yesterday in Iowa.

Psst….someone tell Manning they have exercises to build arm strength.
