A1GP after former Champ Car races

According to AutoRacing1.com sources, the IRL is probably only interested in 5 Champ Car races, with plans to add Long Beach, Edmonton and Surfers Paradise in 2008 and Toronto and Mexico City in 2009. We also hear that A1GP will be pursuing some of the remainder of the dropped Champ Car events, especially with an eye toward breaking into the USA market, where we expect it will fail again.
