Andretti eyes Indy 500 return

John Andretti, co-winner of the 1989 Rolex 24 At Daytona, is co-driving with Ed Carpenter, A.J. Foyt IV, Vitor Meira and Tony George in the No. 03 Vision Racing Daytona Prototype. Andretti, who returned in 2007 to compete in the Indianapolis 500 for the first time since 1994 with Panther Racing, said he's looking to put together a full-month program.

"I'm really enjoying my time down here," said Andretti, whose team will start 20th. "My teammates are a lot of fun to be around. For the Indy 500, I'd love to go back there and start the first week and spend all the time necessary to do it so I can learn a lot more." IndyCar.com
