Gateway announces the launch of the Rumble Before the Roar party zone

Gateway Motorsports Park is offering INDYCAR fans ages 21 and over a unique and exciting pre-race party experience for the second annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline Verizon IndyCar Series race on Saturday, August 25.

The Rumble Before the Roar is the ultimate pre-race party zone, featuring DJs, the Gateway Girls, special guest appearances, bar Olympics, t-shirt giveaways and entertainment. The party zone opens at 3 p.m. and runs until the green flag is waved for the INDYCAR race. Admission is only $20 and includes a souvenir mug, complimentary beer and soft drinks and light snacks. The party zone expanse includes GMP’s all-new cash bar, concession stand and food truck area. It’s the ultimate way to party with friends before a great night of racing under the lights.

Open to adults age 21 and older. Race ticket required for entry.

The Verizon IndyCar Series – the cars and stars of the Indianapolis 500 – played to a packed house last August at Gateway Motorsports Park. Josef Newgarden passed teammate Simon Pagenaud on lap 218 to lead the final 30 laps and score his fourth win of the 2017 season, en route to the series championship.
