Will F1 return to Indy?

IMS President & COO Joie Chitwood said during a morning presentation at Smith & Streets Motorsport forum in NY Wednesday that the track is looking to add a Red Bull Air Race and is still optimistic about the return of F1. Chitwood: “I think F1 will come back, I really do. I don’t know how many annual events we would host after (the IRL, NASCAR, MotoGP and a corporate golf event), but with the centennial era approaching, I think it’s about putting special events on the calendar. Air racing is very interesting to me."
