Will Champ Car race at Mazda Raceway be cancelled?

UPDATE No, the race is still on according to this page on their website.

11/19/07 A reader writes, Dear AutoRacing1.com, I just received the latest Corkscrew Newsletter from Mazda Raceway and there was no mention of the Champ Car race in May. I drilled further into their website and again no mention of a Champ Car race next year Looks like this race is doomed before it even gets started. Bruce Foote
