Audi to forego LMES in 2007

Word on the street is that Audi is not happy with the European LMES series and will only run in the 24 Hours of LeMans. As such, look for the factory Audi drivers and team personnel to be clamoring to get onto Dave Maraj's Champion Audi ALMS team in the USA for 2007. We assume that will be just a 2-car effort, but with all the excess staff, perhaps we will see three Audi's in ALMS.

Some feel Audi is hesitant to go head-to-head with the new Peugeot diesel in LMES for fear of getting beat.
