Dome to enter ALMS

Dome is poised to enter the final two rounds of the American Le Mans Series this year, according to Endurance-Info. The Japanese LMP constructor has expressed interest to compete in North America after the 24 Hours of Le Mans, ideally with development partner Racing for Holland.

Jan Lammers’ team will field the new S101.5 chassis in Europe in 2007. Hiroshi Yuchi, Race and Development Manager of Dome said that Racing For Holland is the ideal choice of team to run the car stateside.

“Of course, ideally, we would go there with Jan, but we must find another team if they cannot commit to the ALMS." Yuchi said.

Meanwhile, the tub of the S101.5 is nearly completed, after suffering from a slight delay. Shakedown of the chassis is expected to come in March. T2M Motorsport has also confirmed that it will take delivery of a S101.5, but for instead in LMP2 specifications.
