11/12/06 According to AutoRacing1.com sources, Craig Gore has given Derrick Walker the go-ahead to continue Team Australia for 2007 with a minimum of 2-Champ Cars. We hear that Will Power is pretty much a sure thing in one seat, but the 2nd seat is still up in the air……..Expect Champ Car's new TV deal, when it is announced, to shock you….first you might say what? And later you'll say 'oh yeah, now I get it'…….It has major domestic and international implications…….Hearing the Denver race for 2007 is on shaky ground but the hope is that it can be saved……Hearing Zolder may need significant upgrades for Champ Car based on a recent Tony Cotman visit so the 2nd European race for next year remains up in the air. Zolder will get the nod of the promoter or track owner agree to the necessary changes. If not the nod could go to Hockenheim, Germany or the Bugatti Circuit at LeMans, both of which we previously mentioned as possibilities.
