Overheard in Mexico

Word in the Mexico City paddock is that Rocketsports is pretty much set on sponsorship for next season for a two-car effort…..Simon Pagenaud is still talking to a number of teams as to where he will take his $2M won from his Atantic title…….Dan Clarke still is not sure where he will drive next year, but a number of team owners have been impressed with his speed…….Dreyer & Reinbold is assumed to be staying in the IRL and Buddy Rice has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the ride……Most teams will be testing various drivers in an early December test with the old Lola…..The sun is beginning to break through and the track is drying so we might have a dry race today.
