ISC to cut more ties with Hulman George

11/01/06 ISC (France family) appears to be slowly cutting their ties with Hulman George and the latest news according SportsBusiness Daily is that Int’l Speedway Corp. (ISC) will announce today that it is purchasing Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corp.'s share of ownership in Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway for $69M in cash. That will give ISC 75% ownership of Raceway Associates LLC, which owns and operates Chicagoland and Route 66. They report that ISC intends to exercise its right to purchase the remaining 25% from the minority owners by early ‘07 (which includes Champ Car team owner Dale Coyne). Is the France family distancing themselves further from open wheel racing?
