Walker eyeing possible 3-car team

Walker Racing team boss Derrick Walker told AutoRacig1.com Thursday in Australia that he is seriously considering running a three car Champ Car team in 2007.

"We would like to keep our existing two drivers (Tagliani and Power) and add Simon Pagenaud who won the Atlantic Championship for us this year. I met with Craig Gore yesterday and we talked about the idea. We have to come up with the money for two cars plus that which is necessary over and above the $2 million Simon won for the championship.
"I also know that Alex is talking to other teams for next year so we will have to see how it all sorts out. Alex has been very up front with me that he is talking to other teams as well, but we would like to keep him if we can.

"We tried to get Ryan Briscoe (another Australian besides Power) but we just could not put another car on the grid due to all the crash damage we suffered this year. Ultimately Team Australia needs to have two Australian drivers."
