Toro Rosso to keep Liuzzi, Speed – Berger

(GMM) Toro Rosso is likely to race into the 2007 season with the same driver lineup.

The Faenza-based team's co-owner, Gerhard Berger, said in an interview that despite rumors linking Heikki Kovalainen with a seat, both Vitantonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed should be given 'time to develop'.

''I don't want the pressure on them to be too big,'' the Austrian was quoted as saying by 'Salzburger Nachrichten'.

''In F1 the error is often made that talents are rushed, so I plan to stay with our drivers for 2007.''

Likely Red Bull Racing evacuee Christian Klien had also been linked with a ride at 'STR' as had rising talents Sebastian Vettel, Michael Ammermuller, Colin Fleming and current 'Friday' star Neel Jani.

But Gerhard said the latter Swiss is not yet ready to race, adding that 'continuity is important.'
