Toro Rosso switch for Klien?

Red Bull may be set to offer Christian Klien a Formula One ride if, as expected, he loses his ride with the team at the end of the season.

According to a report on f1.racing-live.com, Red Bull may place Klien with their junior team Scuderio Toro Rosso in much the same way that Takuma Sato linked up with Super Aguri after being dropped by Honda.

"Klien is a member of the Red Bull family of drivers so it cannot be excluded that he drives for us at some point," Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost told f1total.com.

However, Tost went on to insist that any driver decision for the team would involve Dietrich Mateschitz and Gerhard Berger, the team owners, who incidentally like Klien, hail from Austria.
