Allmendinger might cost CBS some money

A.J. Allmendinger might have cost CBS some money when he blurted out an expletive that was caught on air after he won the Champ Car race. Allmendinger was trying to thank his crew and he told them, "Thanks guys! You were ——- awesome!"

"Did I cuss on TV? I don't remember that," said Allmendinger. "I was just yelling."

Allmendinger noted that NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. got in trouble last year for the same reason. "I figured Dale Jr. did it, so why couldn't I?" Allmendinger said.

Said third-place finisher Sebastien Bourdais, sitting alongside Allmendinger, "Because you can't afford it." Portland Oregonian
