Allmendinger to drive for another team

UPDATE #5 The Forsythe Racing website now shows Allmendinger as part of the team. We already had this rumor as 'fact' and now it is confirmed.

06/12/06 The rumor below about Dan Clarke being out of money, and hence his ride being in jeopardy, is denied by both CTE Racing – HVM and his personal management team in England.

"CTE Racing-HVM confirms there is absolutely no change in its 2006 driver lineup," a spokesperson told AutoRacing1.com

06/11/06 We can now report that AJ Allmendinger is signed to drive for Forsythe Racing, replacing Mario Dominguez. Expect an announcement in a day or so. As we understand it, Dominguez has been offered the vacant Coyne seat but is balking at it. Meanwhile we hear Dan Clarke is running out of money and could be replaced at CTE Racing – HVM. It would make a lot of sense for Champ Car to put Ryan Hunter-Reay in one of those two seats. The series needs another American driver and he's a proven winner. Mark C.

06/10/06 Now hearing that AJ Allmendinger might move over to Forsythe Racing. Mario Dominguez, who has fallen out of favor a bit after taking out Paul Tracy twice this year already, may be offered the vacant Dale Coyne seat.

06/09/06 We are hearing that Allmendinger has been offered da Matta's ride at Dale Coyne Racing and one can assume that RuSPORT might help Coyne out financially if he takes the young American.

06/09/06 Rumor has it that AJ Allmendinger will soon be announced to be driving for another Champ Car team.
