Surtees eyes step up

Former world champion John Surtees is considering a move up from A1GP to a GP2 team in the near future if he can purchase a current team according to Autosport.com.

"I have been asked to look into the prospect of taking over a GP2 team," said Surtees in this week's Autosport. "It would be ideal to have another project so that we could bring more drivers in.

"When Robbie and Sean move up, we would be able to place another Brit and another Canadian in the World Series."
