NASCAR ticket sales soft in Mexico

There are still tickets available for every section of the Hermanos Rodriguez track for the upcoming NASCAR Busch Series race in early March. Because of this organizers are now discounting all tickets 30%. And not only that, if you use a credit card to buy your tickets they will split the cost in three different payments and charge you in 3 different months. What about the fans that bought their tickets before this discount? Will this not be a sold-out event in NASCAR's second year in Mexico City?

In an effort to boost sales, race organizers are having Jorge Goeters, last year's race pole sitter, drive his car in one of the busiest avenues of the city. This Sunday at 12:00 PM CST Goeters will drive from the National Auditorium to the Angel of Independence statue and then back to the National Auditorium. Jose Arrambide
