What about Red Bull?

A reader asks, Dear AutoRacing1.com, I saw the rumor you had that Red Bull was not going to sponsor a car in Champ Car. I am really disappointed; what about Atlantics? Rex Reed, Houston,Tx.

Dear Rex, Our source said they were not going to sponsor a car in Champ Car. We never said anything about Atlantics not having some Red Bull sponsorship. In fact we heard way back in Denver last year that they would probably sponsor the Atlantic Series. I guess we'll find out Tuesday night. This would of course be a major shot in the arm for the series, but if not Red Bull, you will see other significant announcements. Mark C.
