Jose-Maria Lopez to join SuperNova?

Rumors in the Italian media suggest Jose-Maria Lopez may sign for SuperNova for the 2006 GP2 season.

Lopez raced for the DAMS team last season but lost the opportunity to continue there after they confirmed Ferdinando Monfardini and Franck Perera would be their drivers this year.

Lopez has tested for both Racing Engineering and SuperNova during the winter, and topped the times at the Paul Ricard test on December 1st driving for David Sears' squad.

Other drivers to have tested for SuperNova include Adam Carroll, who is expected to stay with the team for a second season, James Rossiter, who was favorite to get the second seat, and Milos Pavlovic.
