Zanardi movie in works

UPDATE This story/rumor, first broke by AutoRacing1.com, is now upgraded to 'fact.' A US production company has bought the rights to Zanardi's autobiography and has already commissioned a screen play for 'My Sweetest Victory', the Italian told Italian magazine Autosprint.

Talks are now taking place between the studio and prospective production companies to start work on the project.

Zanardi said: "Almost all motor racing films flopped, and you always need lots of money to produce them. In this case, however, if the film stays close to the book, the scenes about racing would take a rather a limited amount."
