Telmex to sponsor Mexican in F1

In the Champ Car paddock in Mexico City this weekend sits not a Champ Car with Mexican telecommunications giant Telmex painted all over it, instead an F1 car (pictured right) with the Telmex colors. Our Mexican sources tell us that Telmex will sponsor Mexican driver Salvador Duran in F1 in 2 or 3 years, and by the looks of this show car, they mean business. Duran ran F3 last year, is running A1GP in this off-season and will probably race in GP2 in 2006. He has shown great promise.
