New Porsche to smoke ALMS field

The debut of Porsche’s all-new LMP2 car was postponed from the Petit Le Mans due to concerns about the stamina of its chassis. There are no concerns about its speed, however, as test runs at Road Atlanta only days before the Petit Le Mans ran resulted in a lap time not only faster than the best recorded by all LMP2 qualifiers, but better than all LMP1 qualifying times as well!
