Klien won’t run for BMW

The first all-BMW formula one car will track debut at the beginning of next year, likely 2006 team principal Mario Theissen said in Brazil.

Asked for an exact debut date, the German – almost certain to head the Munich carmaker's takeover of Sauber – told reporters that such detail had not yet been determined.

''We have already made the long term decisions,'' Theissen added, but he refused to confirm whether he would be F1's newest team boss. A lot has been written about that,'' he agreed, ''but we will present the complete team with all the key figures next year. I'm sure there'll be a job for me.''

Theissen also responded to paddock rumors that Red Bull's Christian Klien could find his way into the second BMW cockpit next to Nick Heidfeld.

He responded: ''That's pure speculation with nothing behind it. I cannot speak about drivers at the moment.''
