Bruni threatened with lawsuit

Coloni Motorsport have issued a press release advising that Gianmaria Bruni was instructed not to drive with any other teams in GP2 at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend under threat of legal action. The statement advised that the team, via the International Sports Tribunal, warned Bruni against racing with other teams because the contract between the Italian driver and the Coloni team is still valid. Coloni also contacted the Royal Automobile Club Belgium, the organizing body behind the race weekend, who also instructed Bruni to not race with other teams after reading a contract presented to them. Bruni ignored both requests and raced for Durango. Bruni is believed to owe the team substantial funds from earlier in the year. Autosport-Atlas
