FIA called teams bluff

Rumor has it that the teams didn't think the FIA would really start yesterday's USGP with just six cars on the grid. In fact the drivers stayed in their cars until the 2nd or 3rd lap watching on TV monitors and it could be overheard on the scanner teams telling a driver when to get out and verifying that all the Michelin runners were in the garage and not running. Kimi Raikkonen's team could be heard telling him that all his main points paying competitors never took the green. He then hopped out of the car, shook his head and walked away. All the drivers helplessly watched the TV monitors in disbelief.
