Grand-Am thought they were going to Long Beach

We have it on good word from a Grand-Am insider that the series thought they were going to be racing in Long Beach next year (Saturday) with the IRL (Sunday). We heard similar talk from the IRL teams, who also expected to be there. However, Kevin Kalkhoven drew a line in the sand and stopped it by putting together a winning bid for Champ Car.
