Lazier to get Panther ride?

UPDATE This rumor is upgraded to 'fact' today. Panther Racing confirmed that it will enter cars for 2000 IRL champion Buddy Lazier in races July 16 at Nashville and July 31 at Michigan. Lazier, the 1996 Indy 500 winner, drove a Panther car to fifth place in this year's 500. 06/11/05 The IndyStar is reporting that former Indianapolis 500 winner Buddy Lazier may possibly race for the Chevy powered Panther Racing squad. Supposedly he would run selected venues in a third car. The cost is said to be approximately $100,000 per race if he finds a sponsor.
