Kevin Lacroix, 16, eyes Champ Car

Kevin Lacroix, 16 years old, and holder of a special racer's permit, has reached the Formula BMW podium three times in four starts, winning two races and placing third in another as a member of the AIM Autosport team. He crashed in a fourth race, but still leads the overall series with 52 points and a modest $2,800 U.S. in earnings.

The natural progression for Lacroix would be to shine in BMW, then join the Formula Atlantic series. From there, Champ Car and beyond, if all goes according to plan. Montreal Gazette
