Toyota announcement soon

UPDATE #2 Our European sources tell us that Toyota will indeed soon announce they are quitting the IRL at the end of 2006 when their contract is up. 06/08/05 Toyota has a press conference scheduled this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway and many believe the manufacturer will announce its withdrawal from the IRL. 06/03/05 We are hearing that Toyota will announce their future plans with the IRL possibly as early as this coming week. Whether they stay or leave remains to be seen, but speculation is that they will announce the end of their IRL involvement after 2006. We also hear that if the rumors are true that the IRL may switch to Grand-Am engines, Honda is not really interested. We suspect we will know soon.
