NASCAR eyeing expansion in Mexico and Canada

Chris Economaki states in this week's National Speed Sport News that reports from Daytona indicate NASCAR, pleased with the success of its recent BGN event in Mexico City, is considering a regional racing series in Mexico. And in Canada, talk among car owners is of a NAFTA-type series for all three countries using no-offset late models. No dates or tracks, however, have been announced. This is of course how NASCAR builds up its grassroots following.
