IRL cars dog slow on road course

Unofficial times from this week's IRL testing on the Sebring short road course had the fastest lap as 55.1 sec. by one of the Andretti Green cars and the times went up from there to the 57's. Compare that with the Champ Cars just a few days earlier where Timo Glock turned a 50.96 sec. fast lap and just about everyone else was in the 51 second bracket. Over 4 seconds per lap slower on such a short road course is an enormous amount of time. 55 sec/4 sec. per lap = Champ Car would lap the IRL car every 14 laps. One wag said they looked so slow it was like watching paint dry.
