Champ Car now owns TV production company

Rumor has it that Champ Car now owns Betelgeuse Productions. According to our sources Champ Car had to lend(or give) Betelgeuse a couple of million dollars to pay the workers to finish the 2004 Champ Car TV season. Meanwhile Betelgeuse's stock became essentially worthless and in the end Champ Car became the proud (or not-so-proud) owner of a TV company. We hear most of the people left when they could and whether the company has any assets worth having is another story so we shall see if Champ Car simply shuts its doors or tries to do something with it.
