Ranger could land Champ Car ride

UPDATE AutoRacing1.com Canadian sources tell us that Andrew Ranger's sponsor, Tide (Proctor & Gamble) have agreed in principle to step up their backing such that it looks very promising we will see another young Canadian in Champ Car in 2005. Michael Valiante is the other young Canadian, who will make his start for Walker Racing in Mexico City in two weeks, that hopes to land a full-time ride in 2005. 09/11/04 AutoRacing1.com has learned that negotiations are ongoing to put Andrew Ranger in a Champ Car for this year's Mexico City race. A go, no-go decision will be made by Las Vegas. Mark C.
