Petty Motorsports XFINITY Transport Driver Involved in Traffic Accident

Richard Petty Motorsports employee and transport driver, Will Mallard, driving the No. 43 XFINITY Series car and equipment was involved in a traffic accident this morning in Louisiana on route to the Texas Motor Speedway. Mallard was not injured in the accident and was not issued a citation.

The transporter suffered enough damage to warrant a replacement tractor. However, the team does expect to arrive at the track in time for on-track activities on Friday.
