Logan Gomez to run DC Global Rallycross

Former Mazda Road to Indy driver Logan Gomez has been added as a late entry to compete in the Supercars category at Red Bull Global Rallycross Washington DC Presented by Volkswagen. While I haven't gotten all the details yet on the entry (it has not yet been announced by the series), Gomez will be driving the #77 Ford Fiesta with backing from Royal Purple. The car being is serviced in the Bryan Herta Rallysport garage area.

Gomez, a native of Crown Point, Indiana made 36 Indy Lights starts from 2006-2009, winning at Chicagoland in 2007 driving for Sam Schmidt. The addition of Gomez brings the Supercars field to 12 cars for this weekend.
