At 73-years-old, the “Cat in the Hat" reflects on his passion for racing, his time at Ford Motor Company, and what being at his backyard track, “MIS," means to him.

Also during Countdown to Green, Burton explores Michigan’s two-mile track from behind the wheel of NBC Sports’ Toyota Camry On Track Car, showcasing what lies ahead for drivers on NASCAR’s fastest track. With only four races left before the 16-driver field is set for the Chase, drivers on the bubble are looking at “MIS" as an opportunity to break through with a win. The green flag drops at 2:46 p.m. ET with Sprint Cup Racing from Michigan.

NBCSN’s weekend of race coverage concludes at 11 p.m. ET with NASCAR Victory Lap hosted by Carolyn Manno and Frank Stoddard.
