Grist wins Pro Mazda pole
With a two-lap average speed of 142.591 mph, Juncos Racing's Garett has won pole for today's Pro Mazda 100 at Iowa Speedway. The Canadian was a mere three-tenths quicker than Andretti Autosport's Weiron Tan who will start on the outside of the front row.
Championship leader Santi Urrutia was third with the Juncos pair of Jose Gutierrez and Will Owen rounding out the top-five.
The green flag for today's race is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. local time.
