After Further Review, Kennedy on Atlanta Pole

UPDATE #2 NASCAR has revised the starting lineup for today's Camping World Truck Series race, awarding the pole position to Ben Kennedy.

After a bizarre final round session in Saturday morning's qualifying session, Brad Keselowski was originally awarded the pole with Kennedy starting second.

After reviewing Timing and Scoring, NASCAR determined Keselowski did not complete his lap before the five-minute session expired, nullifying his time. The starting lineup reverted back to the finishing order of the previous round of qualifying, which put Kennedy out in front and Keselowski back in tenth.

02/28/15 Brad Keselowski won the pole for Friday's Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for his second-career Truck Series pole.

Keselowski topped Ben Kennedy a bizarre qualifying session where each of the 12 qualifiers in the final round waited on pit road until the last minute of the five minute session.

By the time the field came around to the start/finish line, only Keselowski was able to make it to the line before the session expired, clocking in with a time of 31.314 seconds (177.045).

Kennedy was second, followed by Erik Jones, Cameron Haley and Daniel Suarez.
