Harvicks sell another property (Update)

NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick and his wife, DeLana, have sold 110.5 acres adjacent to their North Carolina estate for $3.2 million.
The Harvicks' 12,000-square-foot mansion at 8419 Haw River Road in Oak Ridge is listed with Tyler Redhead & McAlister Real Estate for $3.5 million. The effusive listing describes the estate as "extraordinary" with "architectural details beyond description." Features of the opulent estate include "soaring ceilings on all levels," "European-inspired balconies" and "multiple outdoor living spaces" on 19.8 acres, including gardens, a saltwater pool with cabana and outdoor dining area, according to the listing.
The land was sold in two transactions. The 29.5 acres at 8413-8419 Haw River Road sold for $1.1 million, and 81.1 acres at 8427-8461 Haw River Road sold for $2.1 million, according to Guilford County records.
The land deals closed on Sept. 22 with Agency Partners LLC, which is registered to Shawn C. and Jennifer H. Cummings at 1844 Buxton Way in Burlington, according to the N.C. secretary of state.
Neither Fred L. Lekse Jr., the Harvicks' attorney in fact, nor Jason Jones with the Kevin Harvick Foundation returned calls seeking comment on the sale or listing. Charlotte Business Journal
10/20/14 Even before NASCAR star Kevin Harvick grabbed the checkered flag at Charlotte Motor Speedway, he already had closed out another impressive accomplishment: More than a week earlier, he and wife DeLana sold their Kiawah Island vacation home for about $1.8 million more than they paid for it four years ago. The oceanfront spread at 99 Surfsong Road fetched $8.2 million in a sale that closed Oct. 2. The buyers are from New Jersey.
The Harvicks, who live in North Carolina, bought the home in October 2010 as a getaway, a spokesman told The Post and Courier at that time. They paid slightly more than $6.4 million, or about $2 million less than what it had sold for three years earlier. An online marketing brochure from Kiawah Island Real Estate shows the property had been on the market for $9.5 million recently.
The 5,348-square-foot, five-bedroom home was built in 2002 with 14 tons of antique building materials shipped from Europe, including ancient white columns imported from the French Provencal countryside, limestone fireplaces from aging castles and kitchen floor tiles from Italy. It also has a pool, county record show. The property tax bill for this year is $74,236.60. Charleston Post and Courier
