NBCSN To Debut Daily Studio Show Titled “NASCAR America”

NBCSN is taking the wraps off a daily studio show called "NASCAR America." The channel will launch the show Feb. 24, the day after the Daytona 500. A formal announcement is expected to come later today. The 30-minute show will be slotted in the 5:00pm ET weekday timeslot and will be produced from NBC's Stamford, Conn., studios, with additional coverage coming from a new NBC Sports studio in Charlotte. NBC takes over rights to carry NASCAR races in July '15.

Rick Allen will host from Stamford, while Marty Snider and Kelli Stavast will be reporters based in Charlotte. Leigh Diffey, who handles NBCSN's IndyCar and F1 coverage, also will host. Guest analysts will include Jeff Burton, Bobby Labonte, Kyle Petty, Ken Schrader and Frank Stoddard. NBC is planning an occasional role for "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams.
